I. Call to Order
The TEAMS meeting was called to order by Martha Pickett.
II. Approval of Minutes
Quorum not established
III. Program Updates
Program updates were given by Roots & Wings and Youth Villages
IV. Chief Court Counselor Report
Nicole Grant, Chief Court Counselor provided the monthly report
V. Consultant’s Report
• Person County is in a two-year funding period
• The department continues to stress Safe Storage of guns to prevent gun violence. Mr.
Dunevant announced that all 100 locks were distributed and the recipients were appreciative.
He also stated that he is willing to continue to give out gun locks if available.
• Mr. Crews suggested a Risk & Needs Committee meeting with Nicole Grant and Charles
Harvey in October to prepare for the report in November.

VI. Old Business
Ronnie Dunevant volunteered to host in-person meetings beginning November 2023. It was
suggested that all members try to attend in-person with out of town providers/members utilizing
the online platform as needed. Thanks to Ronnie for offering use of his facility.
