09-24-2024 Proposal to Close a Portion of SR 1333, Country Club RoadNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to applicable provisions of the NC General
Statutes, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will
be held by the Person County Board of Commissioners
on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 6 p.m., in the Person
County Office Building Room 215, located at 304 S.
Morgan Street, Roxboro, NC.
Members of the public are invited to offer comments at
the public hearing about the proposal to close a portion
of State Road 1333, Country Club Road. The portion of
the road proposed for closure runs through the Person
County Mega Site, from the intersection of State Road
1322, Edwin Robertson Road, south for approximately
3,800 feet. Any interested person may speak on the issue
of whether the closing would be detrimental to the public
interest or to any individual property rights.
