AMENDED
SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
The Person County Board of Commissioners will hold a Special
Meeting on October 15, 2024 at 9 a.m.
The meeting will be held in the Commissioners’ Boardroom 215 in
the County Office Building located at 304 S. Morgan St., Roxboro,
NC.
The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to hold a public
hearing for authorizing the sale of real property for economic
development in accordance with NC General Statute 158-7.1,
followed by the addition of a closed session per NC General
Statute 143-318.11(a)(4) for the purpose of discussion of matters
relating to the location or expansion of industries or other
businesses in the county related to economic development.
