Official notice is hereby given that the 2025 Proposed Schedule of Values, Standards, and Rules
to be used in appraising real property in Person County has been submitted to the Board of
Commissioners and is available for public inspection in the Office of the Clerk to the Board of
Commissioners in Room 212 of the Person County Office Building, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00
p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Tax Office, located at 13 Abbitt St., Roxboro, NC during
operating hours, and on Person County's website, www.personcountync.gov.
In accordance with NC General Statute 105-317(c), the Person County Board of Commissioners
will hold a Public Hearing on the 2025 Proposed Schedule of Values, Standards, and Rules on
Monday, November 4, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held in Room 215 of the
Person County Office Building, 304 S. Morgan St., Roxboro, NC.
All persons interested in speaking on the proposed schedules, standards, and rules will be given
an opportunity to speak at the public hearing. Anyone who needs an accommodation to
participate at the meeting should notify the County Manager’s Office at 336-597-1720 at least 24
hours prior to the start of the hearing.
