NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Person County Board of Commissioners will hold a
public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the
Auditorium of the Person County Office Building at 304 S.
Morgan St., Roxboro, NC to hear the following:
• Petition SUP-02-25 – A Special Use Permit request by
Chris Hodgin to develop a 2-space RV park on 11.02 acres
at 1676 Zion Level Church Rd (TM A14 47).
• Petition TA-07-25 – To amend the Person County
Planning Ordinance to rename the Rural Conservation
district to Rural Development and update throughout the
document. No changes to uses are proposed.
The public is invited to attend the meeting. All testimony
given at the public hearing regarding the Special Use Permit
must be sworn and factual. The Board reserves the right
to recess the public meeting at another place and time. For
