SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
The Person County Economic Development Commission will hold an Executive Board meeting on
October 24, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am. The meeting will take place in the Person County
Economic Development Building, located at 303 S. Morgan St., Roxboro, NC 27573.
The purpose of this meeting is to have a collaborative discussion of the Person County Economic
Development Commission, Executive Board, and Person County Economic Development
Department.
In addition, to have a Closed Session per General Statute 143-318.11(a)(6) for the purpose of
discussing personnel with the following individuals permitted to attend: The Person County
Economic Development Executive Committee: Dr. Scott McKinney, The Honorable Merilyn
Newell, The Honorable Sherry Wilborn, Phillip Allen, Robert E. Hornik, Jr. and Sonya Carver,
Person County Human Resources Director.
