IV. Consultant's Report Monitoring complete. The 3rd QTR accounting report is due soon. May 1, 2026 is the deadline to reallocate funds. V. Chief Court Counselor Report Numbers are still low. There are currently four juveniles on probation. VI. Old Business Monitoring Report. See attached. There was a question regarding Teen Court: Q: Can they choose not to participate? A: An example of SRO referral, there were four individuals that were referred that would not show up or call. When this happens, the referral is returned back to the referral source. Suggestions made were to widen the referral source to obtain referrals for needed youth. Youth Villages acknowledges that they are not serving non-Medicaid youth. They are a safety net. The Chief Court Counselor advised it was best to keep the service. For example, sex offender complaints come in waves, and there needs to be a safety net in place. Ms. Chapman recommends to keep this program in place for next year. A question about holding dollars in admin for this use was asked. Eddie Crews suggested putting funds in a contracted service line in the Roots & Wings Budget for this use. Other options would include: 1. Continue as is 2. Place $ in a contract line 3. Put out an RFP. Ronnie Dunevant voiced that Roots & Wings would love to help out with the JCPC line item. He acknowledged they collaborate well with Youth Villages and would be glad to accommodate the request if needed. VII. New Business: none VIII.
