I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Richard Johnson.

III. Program Updates
Program updates were given by Roots & Wings:
Roots & Wings (Ronnie Dunevant & Courtney Jackson)
Community Service – 1 current
Life Skills – 3
Teen Court – 2; 8 recent referrals

IV. Consultant's Report
Two important items of business, with number 1 being important regarding time constraints.
1. There is $5,000 in the admin budget that needs to be spent by June 30, 2026. In the past, money has been spent
on scholarships with Parks & Rec, JCPC marketing. Just remember that it has to tie into the mission of JCPC. We
can listen to ideas and meet in June for vote. There was some discussion on ways to spend:
• Sponsor kids under supervision for available camps
• National Night Out Supplies
• Table cloth for JCPC table
2. Fiscal Year 27 has $23,748 unallocated. This needs to be allocated before December, so not as much of a time
crunch. Discussion included:
• Contract with Youth Villages or another agency to meet needs.
• School System Programs
We will need to meet June 10th to vote on spending for $5k in admin.

Keri Cox noted complaint #s increasing for Person County.
